TADA! Youth Theater's Exciting 2026/27 Season
Since 1984, TADA! has been bringing exceptional original musicals to NYC audiences, powered by the creativity, talent, and diverse voices of the young members from our Resident Youth Ensemble, a FREE, year-round pre-professional musical theater training program.
A new season of TADA! is on the horizon, filled with great songs, lots of talent, storylines appropriate for young audiences and those who are young at heart.

This January, TADA! Youth Theater invites audiences of all ages to experience The Perfect Monster, a lively and heartwarming musical comedy running January 23 through February 15, 2027.
Sybil is a curious and creative young scientist who sometimes finds herself comparing who she is to the people around her. Determined to create the ideal friend, she sets out on a scientific adventure that results in a laboratory full of marvelous, merry, and mischievous monsters! Along the way, Sybil discovers that friendship, individuality, and embracing what makes us unique can lead to the most wonderful surprises.
This production will be directed by TADA!’s Associate Artistic Director and RYET Alum Ceanna Bryant.

This spring, TADA! Youth Theater invites audiences to tumble down the rabbit hole with a fresh, imaginative take on a beloved classic! Running May 1–23, 2027, this lively theatrical adventure follows Alice on a journey of self-discovery, friendship, and the challenge of finding where she belongs.
The adventure begins on modern-day Coney Island, where young Alice who feels out of place among the other kids, runs away into an abandoned fun house. When the other kids follow her inside, they find themselves transformed into the unforgettable characters of Wonderland, where nothing is quite as it seems and growing up is a serious matter!

TADA! Youth Theater closes out the 2027 season with another classic hit musical, Everything About A Family (almost).
It’s the Miller family reunion, and Leah Miller is feeling like the odd one out. Dive into the hilarious world of family life where quirky relatives, embarrassing family moments, and heartfelt discoveries bring the good, the bad, and everything in between to life, all through the eyes of the kids! As Leah navigates the chaos, comedy, and connections of family, she begins to discover that families come in all shapes and sizes, that they may not always be perfect, but they are always one of a kind!

In celebration of TADA!’s 40th Anniversary, this fan favorite returned to the stage April 26 – May 18th with a bold new vision that brings the golden age of 1990s kids’ TV game shows to life.
Follow six determined, young contestants as they battle their way to the top of Mt. Victory, all for the chance to claim the ultimate prize. Along the way learning that sometimes the Journey to Victory is about more than winning.
Game Changers is an original TADA! production with a book by Christina Franklin, and music and lyrics by Matthew Gregory. This 2025 production was directed by Resident Youth Ensemble of TADA! Alum Ceanna Bryant, choreographed by Kim Greer-Martinez, with music direction by Emmanuel Vidales, set design by Andrew Machovec, lighting design by Steve O’Shea, and costume design by Carla Thomas.

The History Mystery
This fall, TADA! Youth Theater delighted audiences by reviving a beloved favorite, The History Mystery, which originally premiered in 1998!
In this fun and educational musical adventure, three history-hating teens are transported back in time where they meet inspiring historical figures such as the Suffragettes, a young Benjamin Franklin, Martin Luther King Jr., Eleanor Roosevelt, and more. Along the way, they discover the importance of the past and how it shapes our future.
Performances ran from October 19 through November 17, 2024, at the TADA! Theater and featured the incredible talents of the Resident Youth Ensemble of TADA! (RYET).
The History Mystery is an original TADA! production with a book by Janine Nina Trevens, TADA!’s Executive and Producing Artistic Director, music by Eric Rockwell, and lyrics by Margaret Rose. The production was directed by Janine Nina Trevens, choreographed by Kim Grier-Martinez, with music direction by Emmanuel Vidales and Lucas Colon, set design by Joel Sherry, lighting design by Bryan Ealey, and costume design by L.A. Clevenson.
