An early childhood musical theater experience for infants, toddlers, and their caregivers, this exciting new class blends music, movement, & play to spark brain development, social connection, and joyful learning!
Developmentally thoughtful theater experiences and live piano accompaniment give our youngest learners a gentle intro to song, story, & show tunes. Little ones and their grown-ups build trust & connection while developing body awareness, depth perception, and communication skills through musical play made just for them!
(Plus grown-ups get some guided play-time and build community with other families!)

ACT 1: BROADWAY KIDS – GOTTA SING! GOTTA DANCE! – Age 4-5

Creativity takes center stage in this gentle and FUN intro to musical theater! Young learners channel their boundless imaginations through playful theater activities and lively songs & dances from kid-friendly Broadway, film, & TADA! original musicals written specifically for young voices. Children explore singing, rhythm, basic movement, and simple storytelling in a joyful, confidence-boosting environment, developing their abilities to listen, follow directions, cooperate with peers, and understand basic emotions – the foundations of character, both onstage and in life!  Kids round out the semester in a feel-good final sharing for their favorite grownups!  Song selections are tailored to age, skill, and interest.

ACT 2: RISING STARS – GOTTA SING! GOTTA DANCE! – Age 6-8

Building on the basics, this upbeat and active class takes kids further into the world of musical theater, introducing projection, rhythm, diction, & breath support, through spirited games and group vocal work on songs from favorite Broadway, film, & TADA! original musicals written specifically for young voices.  Fun physical warm ups and dynamic choreography spark learning about stage directions & foundational dance technique.  Along the way, students strengthen focus, coordination, teamwork, and social skills, and finish the semester ready to confidently shine in a final sharing for family and friends!  Song selections are tailored to age, skill, and interest.

ACT 3: SPOTLIGHT SQUAD – GOTTA SING! GOTTA DANCE! – Age 9-13

Step it up! Young Broadway enthusiasts sharpen technique, teamwork, and confident self-expression in this dynamic class that builds on the core components of musical theater: singing, dancing, & acting. Act 3 students begin integrating all three, tackling more complex vocal and movement material from show-stopping Broadway & movie hits plus exclusive TADA! original musicals written expressly for young voices.  We focus on vocal tone, pitch, dynamics, and blending, dive into more intricate choreography, and explore acting with bold physical and emotional expression. Along the way, talents blossom, friendships grow, and confidence soars! The semester concludes with a high-energy sharing for an invited audience, showcasing students’ growing artistry, stage presence, and creativity. Song selections are tailored to age, skill, and interest.

CURTAIN UP! CREATE YOUR OWN MUSICAL – Age 8-12

Write it! Rehearse it! PREMIERE IT! From idea to stage, students team up to co-create an original mini-musical from SCRATCH! Through improvisation & guided creative activities, they dream up characters, settings, and wild events, transform them into a script, select songs from Broadway & movie musicals to move the story forward, cast themselves as the stars, and bring their show to life for family and friends at semester’s end! This class blends musical theater skill-building with narrative storytelling and pure FUN – sparking imaginations, sharpening creative problem-solving, and strengthening collaboration skills – all while helping young artists grow as confident, inventive performers!

AUDITION PREP BOOT CAMP – Ages 11-14

Need to prepare a standout song for this fall’s performing arts high school auditions, your school musical, or even an open call?  We’ve got you covered!  Through group exercises, mock auditions, and individualized feedback in a workshop setting, our expert teaching artists help students select, refine, and confidently nail a performance-ready audition song. Participants build the skills to make bold, authentic choices, connect with their song, and shine under pressure – at a fraction of the cost of private coaching.  You’ll leave with stronger audition skills, greater confidence, and the tools to walk into any audition feeling prepared, authentic, and ready to let your unique artistry shine!  

We cover:

• Choosing the Right Song – to showcase your unique strengths.
• Vocal Techniques – so you can sound your very best. (placement, resonance, breath control)
• Acting the Song – to tell a compelling, believable story. (character development, emotional nuance, deep listening, pursuing objectives)
• Audition Etiquette – (including strong “slating”) to demystify every step of the process!
• Filming Your Submission – All students (but particularly performing arts HS auditionees required to submit a video) can choose to film their audition in our studio with live piano accompaniment during the final session.

Note: Course focuses on vocal selections and song interpretation, not monologues. Students are encouraged to bring song selections they’re considering; Teaching Artists will make additional personalized repertoire suggestions. 

BROADWAY DANCE FOR GROWN UP THEATER KIDS – Age 18-80 & beyond!

Growing up doesn’t have to mean growing OUT of musical theater!  Trade your to-do list for jazz hands and spend your lunch hour dancing your way through iconic Broadway choreography with a professional Teaching Artist & Broadway veteran. Whether you’re reliving your glory days, trying something new, or simply looking for a joyful way to move your body, join this welcoming community to build confidence, get your heart pumping, and reconnect with the creativity, camaraderie, and pure fun that made you fall in love with theater in the first place!  No auditions. No pressure. No judgment.  Just great music, joyful movement, and a weekly dose of Broadway magic!
