Ready to make new friends, build confidence, and perform in TADA! mainstage productions? We’re looking for young people ages 8-18 to join the Resident Youth Ensemble of TADA!, our FREE, pre-professional musical theater and arts education program!
Young performers learn singing, dancing, and acting while becoming part of a supportive theater community and gaining real stage experience.
Many performers currently on Broadway got their start at TADA!

Everything You Need to Know About RYET Auditions!
WHERE: TADA! Youth Theater, on 28th Street between 5th and Broadway in midtown, New York City. (Just a few steps away on the R & W subway line)
AUDITION AGES: 8-18
- There’s no need to prepare anything ahead of time.
- Please wear clothes appropriate for moving and dancing (ex: sweatpants/leggings, sneakers/jazz shoes, no jeans, and all jewelry must be removed.)
AUDITIONS
- When you arrive, add the auditioners name to the sign-in sheet. They will receive a name tag, and join other young people auditioning.
• Auditioners (as a group) will learn 16-32 bars of a song and a dance number from our musical director and choreographer amd perform this in smaller groups.
• Note: These are closed auditions. All Parents/Guardians must drop off the auditionee and pick them up at the end of the audition time.
• Those invited to callbacks will be notified via email.
CALLBACKS
- Day 1 – Auditioners will learn 16-32 bars of a song or two including group and solo vocals and a dance and be provided scenes to take home.
- Day 2 – Auditioners will perform the songs and dance and then read scenes with someone else in the room. After Day 2 there will be the first round of cuts
- Day 3 – A select group will be invited for more, song, dance and reading of scenes.
• Auditioners will then receive a phone call inviting them into the RYET program
