SUBIYA MBOYA is a Kenyan-American artist from New Jersey. She recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theater from the Manhattan School of Music. Her recent credits include Mrs. Lovett in SWEENEY TODD, The Chairman in THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD, Celeste #2/Elaine in SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE, Landlady in RADIOACTIVE (Manhattan School of Music), Maelle in BRICKS THE MUSICAL (National Black Theatre, Hi-Arts, 54 Below, Pearl Studios), Jimi in BAYOU: A FRESHWATER PLAY (Rattlestick Theater), Queen Victoria, Ella, Tea Lady, Mr. George White in JUBILEE (Alabama Shakespeare Festival), Missing Child in WORTH ST. (Royal Family Productions), Spirit in BARRELHOUSE (The Theatre of Others), The Crew in SONNET AND SOUL (NYU Tisch School of the Arts). She is a member of Broadway Advocacy Coalition, Broadway for Arts Education, a PA for The Telsey Office, and a proud alumni of TADA! Youth Theater.
