Joshua K.A. Johnson Bio

“Joshua Kenneth Allen Johnson, originally from Jacksonville, FL, where he attended Douglas Anderson School of the Arts, graduating class of 2017. He went on to earn his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM), graduating in 2021. Following graduation, he launched the 1st National Tour of Pretty Woman: The Musical, as the dance captain, ensemble, and understudied David Morse and Guilio. He then launched the reimagined 2nd National Tour of Aladdin: the Musical, where he appeared in the ensemble, as well as understudied Iago and Omar. He then made his Broadway Debut in Back to the Future: the Musical, as a swing, understudy Goldie Wilson/Marvin Berry, and the fight captain. He most recently joined the broadway company of MJ: The Musical, as a swing. In addition, he has also had the great pleasure of appearing on stages across the country such as The Muny, appearances at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and at Disney as a dancer with Mariah Carey.
