It’s Tuesday, and you know what that means? Tuesdays are for Teaching Artists! Meet Vanna Han (she/her), a brand new Director/Choreographer teaching artist at TADA! Youth Theater.
Originally from China, Vanna now resides in New York.
Get to know Vanna a little better with this fun Q&A!
It is my dream to use musical theatre to inspire young people from all backgrounds to be creative, confident and happy.
These past two years had been very difficult to many people, and I often wonder how a four year old’s perception of the world would be forever changed due to the hardships we are going through. There is no rehearsal in redo in one’s childhood, but we can always use theatre to make our children happier. That is why I find it especially important at the current time to give our children a space to create and to play.
The opportunity to create, to be silly, and to have so much fun with my kids.
“When I Grow Up” from Matilda!
This heartwarming song reminds me of how much my childhood dreams had shaped who I am, and how important it is for the grownups to neuter those precious dreams of our little ones.
Princess Jasmine! She is curious, brave, and always ready to jump to the new adventure, or magic carpet!
