Carl Jaynes

From actor, to producer, to general manager, Carl has filled a lot of slots in the NY theater industry.  A graduate of the theater program at Northwestern University, Carl came to NYC as an actor.  After losing out to Denzel repeatedly for roles, Carl moved into the production end of the business.  The 20th anniversary off-Broadway revival of Fortune and Mens’ Eyes was the first venture.  That led to a position with the Lamb’s Theater Company and later general manager for American Place Theatre and Ensemble Studio Theater. As an associate producer with Susann Brinkley Productions, Carl was part of the team behind Hedwig and the Angry Inch in LA and Chicago.  Currently he is head of CHJ Financial Services, which handles bookkeeping and business management for small  theaters and non-profits in NYC. He still acts occasionally, when the opportunity arises and serves as president of the board of directors for New Light Theater Project.  It is a joy to return to TADA and be part of the happiest staff in the East.
