Alina Patton Jones

Executive Coach, Author, self-esteem advocate, mother and wife, Alina Patton Jones is a Unicorn; living proof that women can have a well-rounded and fulfilling life in a world that tells them that they need to live according to a specific set of rules. Alina was born and raised in Washington, DC where she spent her childhood studying modern dance and ballet.

After graduating from college, Alina pursued a career in the non-profit area where she became Acting Director of Housing for D.C. C.A.R.E. Consortium.  The program was funded by the Ryan White Title II Act to provide emergency housing for people who were homeless with HIV/AIDS.

After living in DC most of her life, Alina moved to New York City to pursue a career in modeling. Over the course of her modeling career Alina was ultimately picked up by Wilhelmina. She did runway and showroom modeling for AEFFE Group representing brands such as Philosophy, Moschino, Alberta Ferretti and John Paul Gaultier, and campaigns for African Pride and Clairol.

Alina then married Charlie Jones and had their first daughter Taylor (who became an ensemble member at the age of 8).  As a mom and still modeling she began to correlate the effects of modeling and self-esteem which led to her pursuing a degree in Social Work. Alina earned her MSW at Fordham University and soon became Practice Manager at Beth Israel Family Planning Center for Women’s Health. Soon thereafter she gave birth to her youngest daughter London who also became an ensemble member.

Today Alina works as an Executive Coach to provide efficient and effective mental health and career coaching. She does this with diverse individuals and groups at all levels and across all industries with the focus on helping distinguish and realize their personal, professional and corporate goals.
