Frequently Asked Questions
What is TADA! Youth Theater?
TADA! is a non-profit off-Broadway theater company that produces original family musicals performed by talented kids between the ages of 8 and 18. TADA! shows are open to the public and are professionally produced. TADA! shows are typically intended for children age 3-11 and are approximately 1 hour long. We also offer musical theater classes and camps at our main location on 15 West 28th Street in Manhattan as well as residency in-school and after-school programs at local public schools, private schools and community centers.
Where do you find the kids for your shows?
The kids who perform in TADA! shows are participants in our Resdent Youth Ensemble- a free, intensive, year-round youth development program. They are between the ages of 8 and 18. Participation is by audition only and while no experience is necessary, talent and dedication are.
